The TechEquity Collaborative is a new organization harnessing the civic energy of the tech community to create the conditions where the Bay Area’s tech-driven economy can work for everyone. The party helped their membership program and kick off initiatives to advocate for change in policy areas like housing, workforce development and access to technology.
The night kicked off with a VIP reception and panel where prospective members heard from local politicians and policymakers, including Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf and California Assemblyman David Chiu about the importance of Tech’s role in local public policy conversations.
