Significant Challenge: Identifying a consistent, reliable source of capital for development projects.
Significant Mistake/Regret: That the financial crisis of 2007-2009 occurred exactly when I had two condominium projects coming on the market.
Significant Accomplishment: Getting three projects approved in SF during a housing moratorium, assembling five parcels in Seattle from three different owners when others had tried and failed.
Biggest Strength(s): My passion for the work I do, being a “quick study” and a natural at anticipating and solving problems, my straightforward, honest communication style.
Biggest Weakness(es): Not networking enough.
Career Advice: Real estate development is a tough business. It is important to aggressively pursue learning opportunities and to learn quickly and move on from mistakes.

Significant Challenge: Juggling being a wife and mother with work and career.
Significant Accomplishment: Not that they are “my” accomplishment, but my two lovely daughters are, by far, what I am most proud of.
Life Advice: The same old trite stuff: listen to and follow your heart, think of others at least as much as you think of yourself.
Trait(s) most admired in others: Integrity, empathy, altruism.
Among several global issues of deep concern, one(s) that stands out to me: The unfair and unequal distribution of opportunity, resources and wealth.
Some causes/organizations I support: Homeless Prenatal Program, SF Food Bank, KALW, TNDC, and many others.
Some of my most-admired people (excluding parents): Elon Musk because he is a true visionary who might really change the world. Art Evans, because he is a man of vision and integrity.
