Wilkes has defined Bay Area style for close to 50 years and he continues to be the go-to man when it comes to making a statement in fashion and standing out in the crowd. As one of the world’s most influential men in fashion, Wilkes Bashford has been a fixture on Esquire’s “International Best Dressed List” since 1972. He is the first retailer to bring many top designers from Italy, including Giorgio Armani, into the United States, has set the stage for men’s fashion in Northern California and is part of San Francisco’s “local fabric.” Wilkes continues to be a trailblazer and style trendsetter in San Francisco and is well deserving of this award.

FOTS 2013 (Cindy Quach)

Fashion and jewelry designer Cindy Quach is originally from Vietnam born on November 30, 1986. Last year Cindy wowed the FOTS audience showing two couture gowns on the runway and just days later she was contacted by Project Runway to be considered as a contestant. Cindy graduated from the Academy of Art University School of Fashion just last year where she mastered exceptional designing skills. Since she was a child, Cindy has had an artistic talent, however, with a family full of entrepreneurs, she followed in their footsteps. After owning her own successful business for 3 years, she took charge of her destiny and finally reached for her childhood passion of becoming a successful fashion designer. Cindy uses her own experiences to create magnificent works of art that are reflective of her strong personality.
