Attorney John Burris, one of the nation’s most prominent civil rights defenders, in conversation with legal experts Otis Bruce, Jr. (Senior Deputy District Attorney, Marin County), Paul Henderson (Deputy Chief of Staff, Public Safety for San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee), Scott Jackson (Law Professor, Director of the Litigation Center, Golden Gate University) and Jennifer Madden (Assistant District Attorney, Alameda County). Reception to follow.
Join us for a candid discussion and gain an insider’s perspective on the criminal justice system from these accomplished professionals, together in discussion for the first time. Timing is everything, and in this election year, these four impressive individuals are also candidates for four different Bay Area Superior Court Judicial seats – Bruce (Marin County), Henderson (San Francisco County), Jackson (Seat 1, Alameda County) and Madden (Seat 2, Alameda County).
