This benefit concert presented by The San Francisco Chapter of The Links, Incorporated will continue SF Links’ tradition of promoting Jazz as an American art form, a healing force and experience for wellness. This intergenerational event creates a unique opportunity for our families, friends and community, as jazz music in all its dimensions is a holistic way to communicate and relate with one another; speaking to our hearts and our souls.

One of the highlights of this year’s event will be the presentation of the “2015 SFLinksConnect Awards” to London Breed, President, SF Board of Supervisors; Malia Cohen, Member, SF Board of Supervisors, District 10; and Natalie Baszile, novelist and author of “Queen Sugar” which is being adapted for a new Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) drama series. The San Francisco Links are proud to honor and celebrate the accomplishments of these three exemplary African-American women.

Proceeds from this concert will further SFLinksConnect, our programming outreach through our signature leadership and education program, Mentoring Across the Miles, Liberia and preventive health and wellness program, Building Healthy Communities Together, in partnership with community organizations serving San Franciscans and beyond.

Hosted reception immediately following the concert.
