Effective Strategies for Recognizing and Dealing with Unconscious Bias

Join us for a lively and engaging panel discussion about Unconscious Bias.

We all have a bias. It does not make us good people or bad people – it makes us human. Once we confront what unconscious bias is and how it influences our behaviors and decision-making, we will be better able to develop strategies to help us to mitigate bias so it doesn’t negatively influence our interactions in our personal and work relationships.

The panelists will talk about effective strategies for recognizing unconscious bias in ourselves and others, how to counteract its negative effects, and what this all means to each of us in our professional and personal interactions with ourselves and others.

As we implement these strategies to mitigate our bias, we will have:

  • Stronger relationships with peers and other key stakeholders
  • Greater sense of teamwork and collaboration
  • More collaborative and open dialogue in our personal relationships
  • Increased sense of trust established with our high-value relationships

Attendees will learn:

1. What unconscious bias is and identify situations where it might be influencing them in their personal and professional relationships

2. Strategies to challenge and mitigate their bias so it doesn’t negatively influence their interactions or decision-making
