Push Downtown: Point Shipyard Project a collaboration with 3rd St Youth Center & Clinic

In this collaboration with 3rd St Youth Center & Clinic, PUSH invites audience to an extraordinary installation performance and of Point Shipyard Project at MoAD. The project showcases an original soundscore by young Bayview Hunters Point residents (ages 12-24) in relation to the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard cleanup in San Francisco. Directed by Raissa Simpson, the work brings forth the struggles and adaptation to changing demographics, gentrification, and suburbanization.
