The Level Up: From entry level to leadership, strategies to propel our careers.

As we approach the time of year where we collectively celebrate African American heritage and culture, BDS is creating an experience that aims to educate and inspire black professionals in the tech industry while providing strategies to propel their careers upward into leadership roles. Many black professionals that may be early in their careers would benefit from more guidance in navigating upward mobility in professional settings. To address these challenges, our theme is “The Level Up: From entry level to leadership, strategies to propel our careers.” We will also highlight and celebrate the progress of black professionals in tech and tech leadership while sharing effective ways to facilitate more representation in our field.

Speakers include:

Roger Williams, Sr Vice President of Media Operations for Disney Streaming Services

Kimberly Wilson, Vice President of Affiliate Marketing for Walt Disney Direct-to-Consumer & International

Clayton Bryan, Venture Partner for 500 Startups

Moderated by Shavaughn Baker, The Corporate Concierge Group
