Maison de la Culture Noire Americaine (MCNA) is the premier information portal for the cosmopolitan African American/African Diaspora experience in Paris—past, present and future—and in France as a whole. It is a soul-stirring, multifaceted, and collaborative cultural arts (and service) center which provides a conduit for anyone interested in exploring and connecting with the African Diaspora groups and individuals who define Black Paris. Enjoy a wonderful soirée with commentaries by historian and author Dr. Tyler Stovall (an authority on Black Paris) and Paris-based Jazz musician and SF native, Mr. Farris Smith.

Introduction by MCNA Excutive Director Robin Bates.

Your tickets will include:  6 Short documentary films, a lively interactive lecture plus  light food and wine.

Enjoy a fun and illuminating evening about the city of lights and the influence the Afro-Americans had over Parisian life in the early 20th Century and continue to have to this day!
