The current exhibit at the African American Center of the San Francisco Public Library (main branch) is about the 1956 voter education and registration campaign conducted in the Black community. It is an excellent educational review and takes about 15 – 20 minutes to absorb.

The main branch of the San Francisco Public Library is located on Larkin and Grove Street, main entrance on Grove Street. You can take BART or MUNI Metro directly to the library, exiting at the Civic Center station. The library is located in the Civic Center so many Muni buses also transit there.
