SFPD’s Black History Month Celebration will celebrate African American achievements and create an important opportunity for SFPD to strengthen the relationship with the community. The event will consist of musical performances, spoken word, inspirational speakers, food, fun and more. This event will promote the preservation and presentation of African American experiences in San Francisco and throughout the United States. Additionally, the celebration will bring SFPD (sworn and civilian), community leaders, organizations, residents/families together to support African American communities.
Food, Beverages, Desserts by Old Skool Cafe and Johnny Doughnuts, Free Raffle, Live Music, Libations by Brotha Clint Sockwell, Performances by Project Level, SFPD Jazz Band, Mickala Cheadle from 3 Da Hard Way, Spoken Word by Officer Rodney Freeman and Community Award Ceremony.
