Melonie and Melorra Green are the owners of Gallery 1307, a pop up gallery space created to provide an outlet for artists and the community to create art, enjoy art and build community through art. It is an extended arm of Independent Artists' Week, an official week long celebration of independent artists and the businesses and organizations that serve them.

Since July 1, Gallery 1307 has showcased over 80 emerging, seasoned, elderly and youth artists. Gallery owners Melonie and Melorra Green are experienced art programmers, curators and producers with a passion for what art can bring to a community and for the enrichment of young people. They are partnered with and/or supported or sponsored by: the African American Art & Cultural Complex, Grants For The Arts, the SF Arts Commission, Nexus Art Reach, Urban Solutions, the Fillmore Center, and a host of other organizations and individuals.
