Event: Black Bourbon Society Launches In Oakland with Sold Out Event
Date: October 13, 2016
Location: ERA Art Bar, Oakland

Over 100 lucky (and saavy) guests came out to celebrate the launch of the Black Bourbon Society, brainchild of Samara Rivers. Samara and her husband Ray (above, top) have discovered a hidden niche among Bay Area tastemakers, who quickly elevated the event to “sold out” status more than a week in advance of the launch. Samara, a Bay Area resident for over 10 years, also operates under her namesake, Samara Rivers – Fundraising & Events. The company provides high-level customizable fundraising and event services for individuals, organizations and companies. Its touch was evident at the premier event, which featured Old Forester Bourbon and included custom cocktails, custom dark chocolate bourbon truffles by Chocolates by Chelsea, tasty cakes by Yellow Cake and savory small plates by Blackberry Soul Catering. After the free flowing cocktails and small bites, guests took home a limited edition Inaugural Membership Card.

Rumor has it Samara  and Ray are working on some special holiday events…stay tuned!
